“Revvy” as she is fondly known as at home is an absolute barn favorite! Currently standing 16hh, this 2018 ISH chestnut mare is incredibly well bred. Sired by the great Olympic show jumper Wido (Nabab de Reve x Heartbreaker) out of Newmarket Funky Filly (Newmarket Venture x Touchdown) she has 6 horses that have show jumped to the1.60m level, including her sire, within her first 4 generations! Revvy certainly inherited their talents. Her hind end is sharp, fast and powerful. Her front end is quick and clever. Revvy also has beautiful gaits with a naturally uphill way of going not to mention her stunning good looks and presence all sure to impress the judges. She wants to be nice and soft in the bridle as she learns how to carry herself into proper connection.
Revvy’s most endearing quality is her steadiness in her training. Whether she’s been worked for 6 days or once out of 6, she always shows up with a willing attitude and relaxed way of going. When traveling for training or competition, she maintains this go with the flow attitude. She is perfect in chaotic warm ups, staying relaxed in her work and attentive to her rider. She is excellent both to work off of the trailer when day hauling and stabling off property for an overnight. Good to haul, stands in the cross ties, good for the farrier, loves peppermints and to be groomed and loved on. Great to hack out, often gets sent out trail riding alone with a working student.
This is not the typical, fiery red head. Instead, Revvy breaks the mold. She wants to be your partner and conquer whatever goals you have ahead! Her exceptional jump could make her a perfect partner in eventing or show jumping. She is well suited for an amateur but talented enough for a professional. You will enjoy your journey with this sweetheart!
